I often peek at Carolynn’s whimsical and imaginative illustrations on twobrunettes as I sip one of my flowering teas. The delicate details tend to inspire creative writing bursts on my blog. Naturally, I was thrilled to write this guest post and create a tea-themed gift guide from Etsy.

 

Since winter winds are chilling us to core on the east coast, I’ve been craving anything that reminds me of blossoms and a warm breeze. Each one of these Etsy items is near and dear to my tea-loving heart, and can find their way onto your table and into your cup for the perfect tea party as we await spring’s arrival.

 

Steep a cup of the rose bud tea and serve in the dainty teacups alongside a Rose Vanilla marshmallow from one of my favorite shops, Whimsy & Spice. Or if you want a richer sip, steep a black tea and stir in a spoonful of the chai spiced honey paired with an Earl Grey macaron. Set the scene with the mint green print, sweet tea towel, tea tin and vintage white teapot. And when you’ve finished the last drop, wash it all away with green tea soap. So until mother earth shows us hints of green, as least we can sip in spring.
