Girl Crush: Melissa Esplin

Melissa Esplin from the blog I Still Love You has been in my heart since you saw her WICKED awesome (yes I just used wicked and awesome right next to each other) DIY bleach tee shirt. Since then Melissa has continuously provided me and her readers with jaw dropping DIY projects, and her just all around incredible talent. I do not think there is anything she can't do. Not only is she a mother of the cutest Penelope but she is a graphic designer, an incredible sewer, a calligrapher ( clearly ), a crafter, and oh adorable! If you have not heard of her blog where she showcases all of her projects, you have to go check her out! Especially her most recent sewing adventure, OMG! 

Girl Crush: Joanna Newsom

My new/old girl crush is Joanna Newsom, I've kinda always crushed on her. I swear she is a living doll. An adorable, whimsical girl who plays the harp with the most incredible voice I have ever heard. Her lyrics are so witty and cute, everything about her makes me smile. I know if you have not heard of her, you will fall in love as soon as you do. 

Isn't she too cute for words? My mom always said she wanted to get me harp lessons when I was little, she should have!

Girl Crush!

I get girl crushes pretty much all the time, especially with blogging, its so easy to totally admire someone's talents, and style. Kate from For Me For You, just totally does it for me! 

I tried to purchase one of her necklace's last night (see empty store) and alas, I failed, again. Sad.  I am dying for one of her gold drop creations, I just want to get my first one so then I can get more! I am very minimal with my jewelry, very picky, so when I like something, I NEED IT! 

Aside from being a really talented jewelry maker she is ALSO, yes, a Graphic Designer, top that off with super cute hair, glasses, style, cat, and living in NYC, Yep Kate, I HEART YOU!

film friday--loving audrey

I love french films, I will watch anything and everything from France and chances are I fall in love with it. Miss Audrey Tautou was part of the reason I first fell in love with french cinema. Can anyone be more adorable then her? Honestly, anyone with the name Audrey must get instant cute genes. I can't wait to see her in Coco Before Chanel.
